STRENGTHS:. Julie
can pull light from many places. Most obviously from an actual light source. She can pull it from the source and to her hand where she can guide and move it's flow with the will of her thoughts. She can harness this energy and amplify it to make it more intense in heat and shoot it out as an energy blast made of light. She can also pull light from more obsure places. Like the goodness of someone's heart. The stronger the purity of heart the brighter and more powerful the light. Julie can shape the light into weapons and constructs for example she can build a bridge of light that is physical and can be walked on.
Power weakness: Julie can not pull light from thin air. If no one with a kind heart is around in pure blackness she can not use her power. She can manipulate the light at will, but she can not create it from scratch. Julie is immune to brightness and can handle staring at intense light, though the hotness of it is enough to burn her if she is careless with it.

OVERALL. History: Growing up the daughter of a tenured professor julie was always curios. He found out about her mutation early on and began to study her. Harmlessly at first, but as she grew older and grew more understanding of her abilities, her father's curiosity grew to the length of obsession. Eventually it became frightening. She had to escape her father after a nasty fight and she fleed from home. Now she has taken refuge at the Xavier school. She is a teacher of physics and part of the X-Team. She now leads the x-team. Julie has a brother named Lane and a brother named Bryan. She has never learned that she was actually adopted.
